The trashcan
phoenix, an audio-animatronic puppet, unfurls its metal wings to greet
visitors. This is scary if you're the only one in the room!

The puppet
storeroom is even scarier, in its way.
I was all alone in this closet full of staring puppets... |

This is
just plain weird. The title of the puppets was "People with Glass
Heads." I have no idea what those things in the background are...

This
is an audioanimatronic puppet that you could control.

This is
from a French company called Velo Theatre. The big crocodile here isn't
a puppet, but a costume to be worn by the puppeteer as he tows the puppet
theater into town behind his bicycle. The story of this puppet show
is that the crocodile has gone in search of his vanished family--only
to discover them for sale in a maroquinerie, or leather shop. Oh, those
wacky French!
