17: The legs are made of three pair of spandex tights, with paper towel
rolls in the ends. The "backpack" is a satin-covered sheet
of plastic needlepoint canvas.

The inner
veil is made of spiderweb lace, and pinned to my hair. The chopsticks
in the back give it some shape.
Then the hat
goes on over that, and the outer veil of black netting is pinned in
place.

October 18: The eyes are 22mm faceted cabochons, glued to the spiderweb lace. I couldn't find red cabochons, so these are clear ones painted with stained glass paint. |
